WC Franklin Co., In. | We went there last year right before the kids went back to school.... I think everyone had the same idea as us. Traffic was a mess. Gatlinburg is nice to walk around. Looking back, we should have avoided Pigeon Forge all together. The Biltmore Estate in Asheville is nice, but it's $60/person. Still worth seeing, though. The Smokey Mountain National Park is nice. This time of year you'll probably be better off staying off the beaten path unless you are prepared to fight the masses. | |
