WC Illinois | We have a mess in our double drop beans. Finally got the wheat and straw off and should be able to mud in the double crop beans today. It's barely dry enough to get the planter over the field but more rain coming so we are going to close our eyes and do it! I know we won't be able to close the seed trench in most places. The next problem is out spray guy (dad) is still baling straw elsewhere and won't be able to spray some of the beans till tomorrow after they are planted. Using Gramaxone to try and clean everything up. Will it hurt the exposed swelled seed in the open trenches a day after planting. TIA and what a mess! | |
