Subject: RE: Fungicide Application on Soybeans

SE NEB
I did a test on my own farm with fortix fungicide and Bolton insecticide sprayed at the R3 stage. I used 60 ft. booms and my test was 1/2 mile rows. At harvest I cut the middle 20 ft. for the yield check. This was on AG4034.

Fortix- 61 bu/ac
Bolton- 59 bu/ac
Control- 59 bu/ac
Fortix & Bolton 64 bu/ac

This was the results I was expecting. I have read that the fung/insect combination worked better together that alone.
This was my first time yield checking fung/insect. I will be doing additional checks, but plan on spraying all my bean acres this year. Going to have the coop do it with their 120 ft booms.
