Washington, Kansas & Lincoln, Nebraska | I'm less than enchanted with this thing. Installation was faulty in more ways than I care to explain here. Eleven months into a two year warranty, $350.00 to clean the flame tube in the heater. Less than a month later new blower in heater, warrantee. Less than another month, new flame tube, another $390.00. New fuel pump, all day in shop and a new motherboard. That repair lasted only two weeks and my heater is gone again. I haven't had time to take it back to Thermo King since. Then last few weeks APU runs about constantly. I found that if the 1800 watt power inverter is hooked into the system it sucks power like sixty whether turned on or off. I disconnected its ground cable at the batteries and little APU has hardly run to charge batteries since.
Anybody else having this much fun with a TK Tri Pac Evolution installation???? I've about determined it's a pretty poor quality unit! |
