I traded an 05 3/4 ton with the 6.0 for a 11 1/2 ton with the 6.2. The 6.2 is better than the 6.0 in every way. More power and better mileage. With the HD trailer towing package on the 1/2 ton it's much heaver duty than a standard 1/2 ton. For what your going to do you will be happy with the 6.2.
