My Patriot XL has both and I use both. My old sprayer was a pull type and I dumped all the chemical in the top of the tank, now I just pour it in the educator and away it goes, no climbing, no carrying jugs on too the sprayer, no splash back. Just pour it in and suck it away. Why mess with an educator on the ground, it's no easier to pour into, then you have to clean that and the hose going to the sprayer too.

I have an outback STS on my sprayer but still use my foam marker on point rows and headlands and things like that. Sure, my gps shows what's done and not done but I can actually see it with the foam marker, then I know exactly were the headland starts and if I need one boom or two or three at the edge of a field instead of guessing by looking at the gps.
