There are 110 fires in Sask alone. And the biggest one is tens of thousands of acres in size apparently. It is not going to be over with quickly, unless a nice cool rain comes along soon. Very smoky here still. It is hard to explain how VAST and empty these areas are. There are few to no roads  up there, access sucks, and it is just pure wilderness. For hundreds of miles in every direction. So it is not a simple task to evacuate, or to set up a base and attack them.
