X2. On the small claim or get lawyer,the more grieve you give this guy the better he will treat the next custom operator he hires. We had a neighbor that was famous for not paying people. Some gave up easy others got paid after a struggle. He was always finding new victims. Had big acres so they would travel a long ways to him and he was a very good talker. Good luck
