Southwest Iowa | Those calves are what I try to find every year for my sons to feed for FFA pens of three at the county fair. We have been getting around 4 lbs a day gain out of the ones we have bought in the past. This year we went to the sale only to find out that he had sold most of his herd in the spring and was "slowing down." Need to find a new place to get some red angus-char cross calves for next year. I would really like to know where you are and where you sell those calves so we could at least bid on them. As long as you aren't too far away.
