We always cut our sudangrass one afternoon and bale the next afternoon. I don't think you'll have a problem and if you have a tedder i'd run it across there if your worried about dry down. One thing you have going for you and that is you planted the 9302 which is a fine stemmed sudangrass. So you cant really compare it to sorghum-sudan which is bigger stemmed so this will be to your advantage on dry down. Also we always leave 6" of stubble and that really helps get air under it to help with drying.
