75/25 or 70/30 was the way it was for decades. way less now in a lot of areas, especially with pretty good feed compared to last few years. Lotsa people scrambling for cows. Can't blame 'em for not wanting to talk the banker into more money. There's no guarantee owning them is a sure thing either. Could dig a hole that would take a decade or more to dig out of.
