You already have storage, interest (actual and opportunity interest) and shrink cost in that old crop. Are you going to cover those costs and make money by holding till fall? With the increase in basis I really do not see any other option unless like the funds, you have a place to get a better return on that money.
The only way I can learn is to ask questions so please do not get offended, I am just asking.
