I've got one 1000ft stretch through the creek valley. One year we had a flood in August and the fence was still standing, but was just a solid mass of driftwood and garbage. I didn't get it to it and left it that way all winter. Then in the spring I cleaned it all off, burned all the junk, and stood it up straight. Then about 48 hours later we got another flood. Would have been pretty funny if it was somebody else!
