Subject: RE: Neutralizing sprayer tank

Darke Co. Ohio
I've had good luck with commercial tank cleaner and ammonia. I always rinse everything out with water before putting in the cleaner/ammonia. I run a rinse nozzle mounted in the tank and let it spray for a good 15-20 minutes, pump the booms full, and let it sit for at least 6 hours before rinsing it all out again. I've also been known to put some 28% UAN in with the cleaner. If you've got anything that soaked into the hoses, the UAN is sure to pull it out!
