| 1/2" here today. Friday had 1.5 - 6" locslly. Has to be worst corn crop I have ever had at this time of year. Even grid tile fields have had pond s in them for close to 3 weeks. Nitrogen is pretty well gone & corn has no root system. Our worst looking corn is what we side dresses, best is fall applied N. Feel for the guys that have no nitrogen or chemicsls down. Few fields still to be planted. As bad as we are I have seen worse. Really feel for the guys slong US 24 between Defiance OH & Remington In. Worst crops. I have ever seen, where it was planted | |
