| a week ago here in NW Indiana I thought that if would we could salvage 60-70% of the crop, now, I'm thinking let it rain and hail. I believe we're at maybe 30 percent. The corn that looked good 2 weeks ago forget it, the corn a week ago that looked great looking very sour. have yet to have 3 consecutive days without moisture, really need 5 and heat to see what might be worth while to put some added N on. Or save everything and let the crop ins. company have at it.
did an N test on the soil again this morning, bout gone. I did a test when I finished up putting on anhydrous of 125, 150, 175 and 200 units, no visual difference. all put on the 28th of may.
for some reason alot of the soys in the area look ok, if they haven't been under water, of course..
