Subject: Huskie or Peak on Milo?

Have some milo about 8-12 inches tall. Looks really good but got a little banged up a few days ago with rain and hail. It should come right out of it but will take a week or so. It was clean when we planted it and received 32 oz. Generic Metalachlor and 1 lb of Atrazine at planting as well. Staying very clean as we figured it would except a little bit of devils claw coming through. Have used 2,4-D and Metsulfuron in the past but it really stunts the growth and stresses the Milo even more.

Both Peak and Huskie are rated Excellent in controlling devils claw and both are labeled to be applied right now to my growth stage of milo. I am waiting to hear back on what the Peak price would be but I got the quite that Huskie would probably be less than $8.00 an acre. We sprayed Peak last year and had pretty good control but have heard more recommendations this year for Huskie. What would you guys do?
