North Central Montana | Having only had about .9 rains since planting, and 100* temps the last few days, things are going down fast.
I've seen it get real dry several times in my life, but I have never seen the grass turn brown. Normally when the grass drys up it turns gold straw color. Right now it's turning brown like shoe leather.
Peas only made one level and are shrinking fast. North of me 15 miles they didn't even flower.
Spring wheat has nice looking heads but, like me, nothing in them.
The irony in most of the rest of this country drowning. | |
