| I'm planning on heading out this week to spray mine. I have a high clearance sprayer with drops, and in past years I'd run Impact, or a good dose of roundup, add a little cadet seems to help knock things back. If the weeds are UNDER the canopy they seem to be more sensitive to herbicide, maybe because they are trying to grow fast to reach sunlight. IDK, but I've always have fabulous luck spraying weeds under the canopy with drop nozzles. Of course drop nozzles are a PITA compared to spraying over the top, but if you have the time it is incredibly effective.
I think you are kinda off-label for roundup and cadet at 5' tall, I'd have to check. But I've never had any trouble as long as I used drops to get under the canopy as far as possible. I would not spray that over the top. If I remember right those are both labeled for 48" tall corn | |
