West Central MN | There is a swath of hail that went down the middle of Big Stone County from north to south.
We have 100 acres of corn that for sure is done for. Another 300 acres that will be questionable. Beans have a lot of leaf loss but doesn't seem to be much bruising on the stems.
The city of Odessa was hit really hard. Pretty much no windows left on the north side of any houses and lots of siding damage as well. I saw a corn field just north of Odessa that looks like a lawnmower went over it; just little 2 inch stubs sticking out of the ground is all that is left of the corn plant.
Sounds like it continued into Lac Qui Parle County quite a ways and affected the Louisburg and Bellingham areas. | |
