Controlled traffic definately is great for the rows that don't get the traffic. But as far as eliminating the pinch rows?.. No, the rows where the traffic run are showing the compaction big time this year following a wet fall last year and then a wet spring this year, you can drive past most of our waist high corn fields and pick out the A-B lines where all the 40 ft. equipment has driven. If we ever get a dry fall, I think we need to pull a In-line ripper down that same A-B line and try to eliminate some of this compaction.
