Have never grown it for harvest only cover in the last 30 years. I would now like to grow some to harvest and wanted to know are there any secrets to growing it? Seeding rates figured 1.5- 2 bu., prevent lodging etc, fertilizer rates compared to wheat or barley? This will be used for seed of course. TIA
