Trying to figure out a way to get flooded wheat fields to dry up enough we can run the drill over it. The ground is just staying wet muck under the straw. The straw won't burn and honestly I don't want rid of it as I am gonna need it to hold the moisture for the bean crop.


If you want the straw on top, you're only real option is waiting. Otherwise I'd suggest a Kelly harrow, or chisel plow really shallow then light disc once it Crusts.
