Subject: Leafy Spurge south of cities on I-35.......

East Central South Dakota
We went to the cities a couple of weekends ago. Took HYW 212 going in and I-35 down to I-90 on way home. Two things stuck out. There are a lot of beans planted along 212 the whole way and along I-35 south of the cities there was a lot of what looked like leafy spurge everywhere in ditches and pasture. Was all that leafy spurge ? ?----- I hope not ! ! !

Crops looked good both ways I thought. Good stands, maybe corn a little behind in maturity and some wet feet, but potential is still there I thought. Worthington area looked fabulous.
