Subject: Crop walk pictures

I was out with my agronomist today looking at the fields and found a couple really nice things (not all perfect though. The first pic is a strip till COC plant I pulled to get a look at the root structure. I pulled up an attached root over two feet long. The rest of the root ball looked good as well. Strong, straight and growing at a good angle.

Next couple pics are of cover crop interseeded in a different corn field. Corn was no tilled 5/2 into bean residue with five gallons of 10-34-0 in furrow and broadcast DAP with Potash and AMS. Seven pounds of ARG and six of crimson clover broadcast with two hundred pounds of urea as a topdress. Agrotain was included. We had a nice rain about thirty six hours after it was spread. Very curious how it will turn out. Spreading was done two weeks ago on June 10.
