Subject: What do you do to conserve fuel?

Current world situation, We Americans aren't the most proactive people when it comes to volintarily limiting our consumption of fuel. Terrorists wouldn't have much $$ or political clout if we didn't need the fuel.

So, what are some good ideas for reducing our consumption of fuel? Most of the world has more tax on fuel.
We use a truck with an L10 for much of our hauling. Too bad there isn't a good synchronized or automatic transmission available (without paying arm & leg for it) for this size truck. We use a Samurai some and tow some to save fuel moving. The Samurai isn't that good of fuel milage though, a 2wd small pickup would be as efficient and better driving on the road. We are no-till. What are some other ideas for reducing fuel consumption?
