south Texas , York Rife Freemason
we have reduced our fuel use alot- 60% i guess. a couple of years ago i parked my gas 4x4 1 ton and got a honda cvic to drive to work .this year we got rid of our fuel hog suburban and the wife got a new honda accord (we both wish we had done it sooner) .i have always geared up and throttled back the tractors in the field on light loads .i cut out all my recrational tillage .i used to plow just to make things look better .i save at least 2-3 trips over the field . but with prices my diesel bill for the farm is higher than it ever has been .
