Near Lansing, MI		Might have to work in the Lime.

Poor Nodulation is often PH related. Beans do not tolerate low PH like corn will.

For what it's worth, In my area I will not apply lime unless it's variable rate / grid sampled.

And I understand if No-till is something you practice, but anything more than 1 ton of lime needs to be chiseled in IMO.
