I must be putting on to much fertilizer, I'd have to go back and look but I was thinking it was like $75/acre for fertilizer and about $50 on chemical. I'm not saying anybody is wrong but anymore I figure $100/acre for equipment costs also. Takes about $50/acre just to combine anymore. Even Purdue only figured fuel and repairs? How is everybody getting by so cheap with equipment costing what it does and the way it depreciates? I run some older equipment but I'm well aware of the money it's gonna take to upgrade so I figure replacement costs. Am I missing something?
