Subject: RE: Interseeding Cereal Rye into V4 Corn

Iowa
The cereal rye is applied in front of the coulter and knife. They, with the closing system seem to provide at least some seed soil contact. I chose rye because for my area it will winter. I am trying to build OM and getting an earlier start makes a big difference in the volume of biomass created and amount of nutrients captured.
Answer to post above is that rainfall data is being tracked.
