Subject: Hypro pump on Spra coupe... ?

KY
Funny thing happening, kicked the pump on and nothing happened. Kept messing around, checking fuzes, power at the clutch, all good. Finally learned that if I'd go to idle and kick it on, it would build pressure. Start picking up the RPM's and pressure builds a little then it's like the pump loses suction or spins out, as the engine RPM creeps up and the pressure goes to zero until I idle back and it picks up again. It will maintain 40 psi with all boom sections on at 12 GPA at 10 mph simulated in the yard, going to try to spray a little with it this evening and see. If the pump is failing it wouldn't be surprising, it's been on there much longer than normal and I have run a fair amount of 28% through it to boot. Almost seems like the suction is starved but I back flushed the suction line and discovered nothing, good gravity flow to the pump inlet.
