Kamsack Saskatchewan, Canada | Looks a little light for a barking spud, but could be a homemade log peavy and bark spud for smaller logs. Ive seen a lot of ice tools, but none like this, but that don't mean it was not used in a ice harvest, but if you look at were it attaches to a handle, it looks very light, like a regular garden hoe. Ive got an old hardware store sales book from 1904 , and it has thousands of pictures of items for sale of the day. Going to have a look some day, and see if it shows it or simular. |
