North Central Texas | First off unhook the high pressure side. You really don't ever need to hook it up and if your new to ac work it's can be dangerous. Can pressure is irrelevant. My jugs turn out over 100. Pressure you should look at is with the low pressure valve turned closed. When full you should read 15-20 psi at 1800rpm. 134 is slow to take so the higher rpms increases the suction. You should be opening the low to fill and checking the temp in the cab. When cool then fine tune the pressure.
On the restriction. If it won't take then it is the expansion valve provided the compressor is energized. Not uncommon to be clogged. | |
