Snipesville, GA | My truck just started doing this only in high gear. Manual 6 speed. Between 1500 and 2000 rpm the engine dies and comes back. I can put it in 5th gear and has no problems from 1000 to 2500 rpms. Replaced fuel filter that only had 4k miles on it and it looked clean. Cranks and runs fine except for high gear and has no load on it just the truck. Its got me puzzled. Had injector pump redone about 130,000 miles with new lift pump and has 199,000 on it now. I also put another lift pump on it around 170,000. This truck sees a lot of field time and not many road miles. I only average about 10,000 miles a year. | |
