St. Clair MN; Casa Grande AZ | I had an open class barrow put in quarantine at the state fair because of small vaccine injection site scar, and the state veterinarian doing the inspecting thought it was ringworm.
The kids had a white soft skinned York looking 4H barrow that was full of mosquito bites and he was sent home because that vet said it had erysipelas. The swine barn at the fair is under cottonwood trees and next to the (Cottonwood) river and the flies and Mosquitos are pretty lousy down there. |
