Paperweight?
jk.... Its Trimble's new flagship display. Its based on an Android tablet and has a very "pretty" interface. Coupled with a modem, you can get satellite imagery which is pretty cool. They also created a FM1000+ app for it. So with a port expander it will have all the same functionality of the FM1000. I am really curious to see what Trimble will do with it in the next update.
Last year wasn't exactly a great showing with it, but I've had extremely good luck with the 2050 displays this year. If everything keeps working the way it is now I'll be encouraging people into the 2050 instead of the fm-1000. Much quicker and smoother display with the new 2050, which comes in handy with section & rate systems and water management setups. |
