I'll chime in if you don't mind. Dalian #1 soybeans are their domestically grown crop. They are non-gmo and for tofu making...not for crushing. The reason they've rallied is that traders think Chinese soybean acreage will be down quite a bit this year as corn is more profitable for farmers. The #2 soybean contract on the Dalian exchange are the imported gmo beans though they have only light volume.
