Any cheap online brokerages out there that a person can use for options ? Thinking about buying some short dated calls at this point. With short dated you can still turn them into futures positions ? If it is a new crop expiring in july would that be july 20 th or so ?
If you have never hedged before, I would not recommend a "cheap" brokerage service. Some options can be highly illiquid and subsequently difficult to get a fill. If you need a good broker at a fair price, you can give me a call. Used this guy for 15 years.......one of the best. Fair on price and gets it done. 815-682-4451.
