Embarrass WI | When you hire an accountant, you are not buying time. You are buying knowledge. A trained seal could put numbers on paper, it's knowing what to do with those numbers that is important.
I pay much more than that for my accountant, and he gets QuickBook files to work from. I still consider it a bargain, but I have 8-10 employees and lots of different categories and transactions.
If you truly know what you are doing, you can save some $$$ by doing it all yourself. I don't know how much you would be saving if you factored in all the time it would take to get up to speed on all the changes in tax rules that happen every year. | |
