Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa | Thank you for sharing that story. It brought back some memories for me. My father was diagnosed with bone cancer Jan. 1996, was taking chemo upthrough Sept. that year, was not able to do much of anything during that time frame. But one day he was watching me try to do a little dirt project with his 3020 gas tractor and Westendorf loader. After a while he couldn't take it any more, came over and said "Let me have a go at it". He got more done in 5 minutes than I had the previous 20 minutes. He always said to hang onto that tractor, because "It is fairly easy to get on and off because it isn't all that high off the ground". Thought that was a silly statement at the time, but now 19 years later, I see his point. thanks again. bruce. |
