Nice work but IMHO, your data is skewed. It looks like (phone screen is small) that your work encompasses the number post 2006. The vast majority of that period price was in an uptrend and it wasn't until recently the major pulback started. So while your statement is accurate, IMHO, it should be considered in the same context - so compare it to the major pullbacks that occured in each of the previous decades - one in each. Then probably normalize the data since it is the only way to smooth out the increased trading volumes. That may give a clearer picture...
