North Dakota | Couple of things. Are you plugged into the serial port on the bottom of the 600? That is RS-232B port on the 600. Second try switching pins 3 and 4 in the 12 pin connector that comes from the 600. Pins 3 and 4 are the receive and transmit wires for serial comms. If you change them at the 9 pin serial female connector the pins are 2 and 3, return is pin 5 on both ends. If that doesn't work, try to add a ground to pin 5 at the 600, for whatever reason the engineers didn't think they needed a ground for the serial port comms. | |
