N Middle Tn | I use stafix 1 and 3 joule chargers in solar applications. I have found that the larger chargers require a lot of battery and panel capacity. I size the system based off of the charger draw, battery capacity for 7 days with out sun and I use a 50% of panel capacity for my location. I have a 6 joule charger in a solar application that is a mains charger and is used year around. | |
