We used to use these a lot when we raised hogs, I always thought they got more gnats and mosquitos than flies. Don't know how they'd work in a coop, they make a disturbing noise when they fry something and an occasional moth will go down in flame, so beware. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200320773_200320773?...
