southern MN | I filled my 64 a while ago, well almost full.
When I delete apps and movies and pics, the memory shows up again as unused, so I can't really help with the problem, other than it is supposed to work?
Videos really take the room, any video left that could be erased?
Has she occasionally closed the individual programs. (Works different on iOS 7 or 8 so hate to explain it exactly, but you flick the programs up from a picture list of them to actually 'close' the programs.)
Has she occasionally shut down the iPad completely and started it up again by holding down the on/off button,on the upper left side and swiping to shut down?
Both of these actions help clear out clutter and make things work proper again.
There are options in the 'general' settings to clear out junk, as well as options to reset your iPad to like new out of the box and start over, reloading the apps you have. Again I hate to try to explain these, other than they are available to really clear things up.....
