NE SD | Is the spring pass necessary Dan? Reason I ask is what we are thinking about doing "here" is putting a heavy duty harrow on the back of our chisel (has 2" spikes) and seeing if we can get it level enough where a trip with the Super Coulter and it's heavy harrow will level it in the spring. What would be better is if the harrow behind the chisel would leave it smooth enough to plant into. We don't do enough tillage to justify buying a new chisel plow and our mid '90s chisel is in excellent condition yet. | |
