So 5 gal of 10-34-0 is 11.4# of salt
And 2 gallons of 28% is 13.5#?

That doesn't sound like it would hurt anything IMO.

I've heard from more then one person when folks use in furrow fertilizer and a row plugs up and it looks better then the rows with the fertilizer its because the Nitrogen give it a better look, but many times doesn't equate to higher profit.... I'd like to test this some time...
