Big Springs, Nebraska | If you give a certain amount of bushels of the crop to the landlord to supplement the cash rent, are there any issues with your production records for your crop insurance?
Say I harvest 5,000 bu off the field but only 4,500 goes in my name at the elevator.
Just trying to think this through before negotiating one of these type leases.
Also, is the FSA going to be alright calling this a "Cash Lease" or would it technically be crop share and then the landlord would have to get some of the gov payments (if there are any)?
