NE MO & W IL | The water we use on our main farm has city water that has lots of calcium used in the treatment process. We get the excess that is pulled out and have it applied as liquid lime sludge on our fields. Anyway, not excatly sure of the hardness reading, but our glyphosate performace was not good with just adding AMS. By buffering pH with LI 700, it has gotten better. However, we'v been treating the sprayer water and adding the glyphosate in through an inducer (into untreated water). We just set up our tender to re-circulate water, so we plan to add our AMS and buffering agents into the tender and mix before we transfer and add herbicides. This should give us the performance desired, I hope. The soil boost plus would be nice, as we could just pour it into the inducer and then let it mix in the tender. Not sure how it would price out to AMS and LI 700 though. Send me an email if you have prices. Thx | |
