| Most Larson storm doors are made of plastic and particle board and won't last long. I have had to add galvanized tin over the holes on my front door to keep the squirrels and birds from chewing the rotting particle board. I have bought a new one made only of steel, glass, and aluminum, no particle board. It should last better, it cost more. Its a pain to install because the hinges and latch have to be installed to fit the opening and with swing and there aren't holes for them in the raw door. So its only 3/4 built at this point.
